Fantastic
. Room was clean however during the stay there was a lot of heat in the local area and the windows would not open more than an inch. Thankfully the staff were kind enough to provide a fan. Breakfast was very good as was the bar service and bar food.....the other resturant on site had a nice menu however there was a deal for a 3 course meal for €42 roughly per person the menu showed a starter a main and a desert choice however you could only pick 2 of those because tea or coffee was considered the 3rd course even if you didnt want it??? Strange to say the least

Unable to check in at 4pm and had to wait for the room to be cleaned. Breakfast does not start until 8am which is quite late and this was not communicated to me at check in, I arrived at breakfast at 7:15 only to be told to wait until 8am.

Great hotel with pool and gym. Very tasty breakfast. Only complaint didn't appear to be wifi in room.

Great hotel, great staff. Just need to get the plumbers in - dripping gutter outside, dripping toilet cistern inside, and super weak flow from the basin taps (but the shower was OK).

Best thing about this place is the bed and reception staff. Bed was incredibly huge and comfortable. Reception staff were great, helpful and understanding. Sadly that's it. The pool area, changing rooms and surrounding areas very unhighenic. Lots was also out of order, the steam room and jacuzzi for example. Broken hairdryers and lockers in the changing rooms. Drinks and dinner was expensive but service was pretty bad. I struggled to get served at the bar while the staff were busy arguing with eachother. Thankfully the reception manager took the outstanding bill off for us when we left as we were so disappointed with our stay.

The building works weren’t annoying. Food was good, lot lot better than 2y ago. Lot of stags and hens. Bit of a walk to town. No Ev chargers

This place is currently undergoing renovations. The lobby is looking much better, but the brooms are very old and dated. We particularly dislike the bathrooms. Here’s a picture of our bathroom. The glass enclosure won’t stay shut causing water to lay on the floor. The body wash is empty. The shower controls require a manual to operate. Even the counter sink has old-style faucets. On a positive note, the gym was spacious and well-equipped. However, the only towels available in the gym are meant for the pool, you need to buzz an attendant to get in and the tv screen in front of the exercise bikes is a lovely shade of blue. Tip: If you’re going to have the tv on with no sound it’s nice to turn closed captioned on so people exercising don’t have to lip read. The morning breakfast was basic but nice although someone asked to verify our room number three times. The dining area felt a bit clinical kind of like a seniors home. Downtown Westport was a 15 minute walk away but over a hiily street.

Undergoing a refurbishment so quite noisy and dusty in places. We had one of the older rooms but new ones looked nice. Buffet breakfast probably the worst over our last several stops. It was not kept topped up and what was there was hard and dried out. With a few other people I asked for some more eggs which also came out hard and dry. A decent hilly walk to get into town.
