Solo stay

The 1 king bedroom was nice and big with a modernstyle bathroom. Minifrisge included, but no microwave unfortunately. Since it's downtown a lot of noise can be heard at the 6th floor.

Room is big and comfortable.. everything is nice… except the shower drain makes a very loud sound. It’s like water draining but it has a squeak sound as well. It is so loud. Hard to get a good nights sleep. Even with the bathroom door closed, it was very loud. If I had been staying there longer than a day, I wouldn’t asked to change rooms. We left earlier than check out time because of it.

When I arrived, I was surprised to learn there was a $30 destination fee added to my bill. Apparently, Expedia discloses it if you scroll down, while the hotel said it's included upfront when booking directly. Either way, charging a destination fee feels unnecessary. The hotel also only offers valet parking. The sign advertised valet for $30, so that's what I expected. After my car had already been taken, I was told overnight valet was actually $60. Since most guests parking at a hotel are staying overnight, not clearly advertising the actual overnight rate feels misleading. My final issue was the noise. The walls are very thin, and the guests next door were loud and partying late into the night. I went to the front desk multiple times asking for help, but nothing was done. My family and I ended up getting very little sleep. Overall, the hidden fees, misleading parking pricing, and lack of response to the noise complaints made for a disappointing stay. I would not choose to stay here again.
