Fantastic The property is right on the ocean. They have a small beach, infinity pool, WiFi. It is reasonably priced, Breakfast was good. My only real complaint was the entertainment. No streaming channels like Netflix or HBO. The tv channels were also quite limited. There is a small playground for little ones but no gym. Great location though, a lot of restaurants nearby. Great views from their restaurant.

Fantastic The snorkeling/scuba access cove was absolutely awesome! There was an eel, an octopus, and so many different fish every day! The pools are open 24/7 and were nice to dip into after a snorkel session. The bar/restaurant were great to have there. The rooms were well equipped, well maintained, and cleaned daily. I can’t say enough good things about the front staff. They were so welcoming and just absolutely lovely! We’d stay here every time!!!

The room was clean but the staff were so nice. I don't think I have stayed somewhere with staff this friendly.

GoodStayed with family
Pros - The room appeared to be clean & staff did clean daily. The facility itself appeared to be nice, cleaned and maintained.
Cons- only one pool worked. The restaurant has horrible service. They want you to make a reservation to eat. The food was mediocre. However, that seems to be the norm on the island. Slow service & the staff acted annoyed that you were even there.
Parking can be tricky in the evenings. That seems to be when everyone goes out.
I felt that the norm there is everyone must dress up and present themself in a formal manner. Not really the beach style I love. If I want to wear shorts and be comfortable, it was almost like you were judged as a homeless person.
As I mentioned above, the service at the restaurant both at Scuba Lodge and throughout the island need some customer service or hospitality training. I spoke with many other people & they all had the same experience.
I felt that Americans are NOT wanted on the island although Curacao is marketing heavily here in the states. Keep that in mind bc I was treated like S#.+ numerous times. Even cursed on a boat trip to Klein.
The island itself is beautiful. If I go back, I’ll be renting VRBO or something similar. This has been my least fav island of the ABC’s. Bonaire is my fav due to less people, quieter nights, customer service and more of a friendly atmosphere.

FantasticSolo stay
Purpose of this stay was diving. Dive Center Pietermaai is just 4 doors away from Scuba Lodge. I just walk there and back. Outdoor shower by the pool next to reception was used to rinse off myself and my scuba gear after my dives. Nothing available to hang wet scuba gear out to dry. I just drape my equipment over chairs. Room was comfortable and spacious for me, a solo diver. However the mattresses have a pronounced dip/sag in the middle. Needs new mattresses. Housekeeping was wonderful and food in the restaurant (De Heeren@Sea) was yummy. Punda and Queen Emma pontoon bridge is just a 15 min walk away.

GreatStayed with partner
Rooms serviced daily was nice. Beach ocean entrance to small manmade cove. Snorkeling good if waters smooth enough. Snorkle to the right for best results. Scuba has a deep wall drop about 100 meters out. Plenty of free loungers but no "real" beach.
