Solo stay

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Not only in NYC but anywhere in the world. Up to date, immaculately clean, convenient to what I was doing, quiet, breakfast choices abundant (however, crowded but people were polite), plenty of room for one and would have been spacious for two. I can’t think of enough good things to say about this place.

The rooms were clean, pillows were soft and fluffy, crisp clean sheets and top blankets. The ORGANIC KIND BRAND shampoo and conditioner, lotion and bodywash was a nice added surprise. Check in, is 3 pm,however they do offer a complimentary bag Check service until your room is ready for Check in, which is very helpful, especially with timed activities. The view from the rooftop was nice but only open from 8 to 8pm. It would be nice to see the sunset or rise 😕 from the rooftop for nearly 400.00 per night. Great stay all and all, continental breakfast was just that. It was free food.. waffles, sausage links and scrambled eggs. Just there.. NO WELCOME TO NEW YORK FLAVOR.

We had a good time here -- the location and free breakfast was a draw as were the big rooms and comfy beds. The elevator situation made things very difficult for a lot of people at check in and check out though. It might be a deal breaker in fact unless you are flexible. We often took the stairs (7th floor...but the hotel has many stories) when we did not have luggage out of necessity. Very clean and quiet.

The perfect location for everything--delicious food, easy subway access, all the mid town action. Clean comfortable rooms and an incredible breakfast selection. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast that was well run. The only challenge was waiting for elevators which seem to be typical in New York.
