Good I waited for 45 minutes for the Airport shuttle. Then the person at the desk told me that there were two shuttles going. That made it even worse. I was also told that the shuttle was dropping off people. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was literally five minute drive to the hotel. And then the next day there was no dropping off of guest anywhere but at Federal Circle (again five minutes away). So I was lied to. Simple as that. The driver simply did not drive the route. There is NO excuse for this. And no excuse for the desk people to lie about it. I doubt very seriously that I will ever stay at Hilton Garden Inn Queens/JFK.

Good Just around 10 minutes from the airport. Hotel is average for sleeping in a layover, but not for staying for visiting. Nothing nearby, no food or restaurants in walking distance. Just Uber or delivery. Waiting for the shuttle at hotel was a bitter experience. Had to wait over an hour for driver to arrive. For over $350 a night, could be better.

Good Clean room, comfy bed, okay food and drink selection if you’re ere exhausted from your travels. Good and speedy connection to JFK via Federal Circle. A decent stay for those travelers who would be in and out for a night stay in New York City.

Great The property was fine to sleep in for our unexpected extra nights near JFK airport. The shuttle was helpful in navigating trips back to the airport and to the airtrain. The property looked as if it were undergoing construction with large swamp coolers blowing into the vents and hoses running around the lobby area. The baseboards on the ground floor were also removed and sitting unfinished in the walkway. It's not a destination hotel for sure but was fine as a place to crash for the night.

Below average The toilet ran continuously which made for terrible sleep. We were told a maintenance person would come to address the issue and that never happened.

Staff was great! But severe water damage in the lobby and corridor, the gym had no towels or cleansing wipes. Hilton needs to invest in bringing this property to standard.

Good Breakfast was not value for money. The size was like that of a toddler. It will not fill toddler up, let alone for last till your next meal in the afternoon.
I would have preferred if the bathroom and toilet was washed everyday. It seems to me that this part is not a daily routine as the maids who work very hard are on a conveyor belt.
You have to pay $4 for a bottle of water when you can buy it for less than $1 in the store. Water should be given to every guest free of charge regardless of whether you are a Hilton Honours member not.
At every Hilton, I have stayed across the globe, water is free. It's only in America where they charge for a free natural resource including the air you breathe in.
Overall, an average hotel. I am not really impressed by the amenities if I am honest. But some of the staff try their best with what they have.

GreatSolo stay
Had a really pleasant stay everybody was really friendly and very helpful. The only issue that I had was the laundry mat the washers and dryers never worked, but the maintenance guy was always there to help when I needed him. They did dry my clothes for me. that was very nice but overall I had a nice stay!
