Lovely friendly reception staff. The room was simple, clean and quiet. Great bed - I slept really well. Good breakfast and great coffee. The location is fantastic. Quiet but very close to the beach and surrounded by bakeries, shops, bars and restaurants. I was there for work but a local colleague took me all over Nice and we walked everywhere.

France, are you ok? Nowhere else in the world does this place land in the same neighborhood as a four-star hotel. Positives are brief: good location, okay housekeeping, a provided crib, and a decent breakfast thanks to the staff. It also features a garden, small bar, and afternoon coffee—concluding the major amenities we were told about. Hospitality ends there. Our family had two rooms, and the issues were shared between both. One room lacked a coffee maker entirely. There is no bell service, and a receptionist was outright rude to my elderly family member during check-in. (The independent garage is too cramped for anything but a compact car). The property is decrepit. Paint is dated, doors squeak, and the bathroom door required full body weight to close. There were flies, and many surfaces were dusty. Worst of all, the sink faucet releases a nauseating, horrid stench. Housekeeping repeatedly turned off our exhaust fan and left the bathroom door wide open, blasting the odor into the bedroom. Additionally, a bright blue clock on the TV shines into your eyes and can't be turned off; I had to cover it with a card. Short-term, it needs a deep cleaning; long-term, major renovations. If you value cleanliness, avoid this place entirely. It needs to be reclassified as a 3-star max.

Walls are thin. You can clearly hear conversations. You can also hear anyone walking above your floor.

Fantastic
The outdoor gardens are lovely and available for breakfast, bar service and enjoying at any time of the day. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with directions, local information and getting settled in. The location is excellent. We liked it so much we changed our reservations from another Nice hotel to the Brice Gardens for our return trip through Nice. Breakfast is varied and filling, with very good food and something for everyone. The luggage hold service is easy and secure. This is my second visit (first in 2022 August) and I found it just as nice as it was before and the staff just as accommodating.

Fantastic
The front garden through which you enter the hotel is lovely and peaceful. Our room was spacious and felt newly renovated, to the point that it seemed it had not been fully furnished yet, for example with a sofa. Still, it was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. In particular, the croissants were warm and appeared to be freshly baked. Of special note, people at the front desk were very helpful when we needed to find a walk-in clinic. Their information allowed us to get the assistance we needed in a timely way. Merci!

Stayed with friends · For friends and family

Right on the edge of the shopping and attractions and easy access just a few blocks from the beach. The staff service was friendly and accommodating from the desk to the cleaning staff. The outdoor area is comfortable and clean as well. The room and bathroom were comfy and spacious. I would recommend this place again and probably stay here unless I wanted to glitz it up at the casino or somewhere else.
