Solo stay

Check in continues to be difficult. Room was clean but bathroom could have been cleaner. Apartment very old.

The location is awesome, as is the view. But, the apartment is older than Methusaleh, and twice as worn and dated. Example: the louvered doors to the washer and dryer were broken, and dangling at an angle. That's not just a bad day; that's a statement, right there. And the statement is, "we don't much care about details." Confession: I'd probably stay there again, because of the neighborhood and proximity to the airport, but the unit is TIRED....

The pictures give you a feel that this is a semi-updated nice apartment but in reality it was livable but not great. The carpet seems to be original to the apartment, at least 30-40 plus years old and hadn't been deep cleaned in YEARS. The kitchen and bathroom were original but kept up fairly well but all of it just felt like the 80's. The furniture was newer but mix and match of cheap. The kitchen had the bare minimum which worked for us but the tv in the living room would not turn on so we kept to the bedroom the whole time. The thermostats were original and didn't seem to work no matter what we did. It was on heat when we arrived but the temps that week were in the 80's and when we moved the thermostat to cool and turned down temp it just never cooled down. I also never received instructions on how to enter the apartment or on how to request and pay for parking so I had to call the owner. Nice lady at We Host but there was a language barrier since english was her 2nd language and communication of all information was really broken. Overall, we booked it last minute and for a low price so we definitely got what we paid for and it suited our needs but I wouldn't book this particular apartment again.

Good location, nice spacious apartment, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Check in was very poor, as I never got the emailed code to obtain the key. Also, the room was very cold and thermostat did not work.
