Can I cancel and refund my Taiwan High Speed Rail ticket?

Before collecting your ticket:

  1. Head to your Bookings page page on Klook at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
  2. Select your High Speed Rail booking and cancel your ticket.

You can also ask for help from the staff at the collection counter in the rail station to cancel and refund your ticket.

For add-on items, please get in touch with Klook Customer Support after cancelling your High Speed Rail ticket and we'll help you get any applicable refunds. Please note that this is subject to the Terms & Conditions of your selected items and original ticket.

After collecting your ticket:

  1. If you've already redeemed your ticket in-person/online, please head to the closest collection counter at a rail station, or a partnering convenience store.
  2. You will be charged a TWD20 handling fee for each refunded ticket, and you will receive the remaining balance as a refund to your account.
  3. Make sure to collect proof of your cancellation and refund from the counter/store.

You can only cancel/amend your High Speed Rail ticket more than 30 minutes from your scheduled departure time. Add-on items cannot be cancelled or refunded once you've collected your High Speed Rail Ticket.

Please note:

  1. You cannot partially refund your High Speed Rail booking (eg: cancel only 1 ticket if your booking has 2 tickets). If you have a return ticket and one leg of the journey has already been used/elapsed, you cannot cancel or refund your ticket.
  2. In the event of a typhoon: customers who have train tickets which fall between the dates of a maritime typhoon warning will be able to request a refund within 1 year of their scheduled departure date, free of charge.
