it is very interesting, my friend and me enjoy the activity. Our chef, Bon, is adorable girl, firstly, she took us to traditional market to buy ingredients, and kindly introduce special ingredients to us. If you don’t want to go to traditional market, they can skip it. During the class, Bon carefully lead us to finish our Vietnam food dinner, every dishes are delicious and we are so satisfied on it. After class, they will send the recipe to us. Every thing is nice. We thanked Bon for giving us wonderful day.
Highly recommend for the Hanoi Rural Morning tour and visit Bat Trang pottery village. The 2 Tour guides & drivers were very enthusiastic, attentive & cute, also took a very nice picture again .. Lunch with fried noodles, fried rice & crispy fried pho is very delicious & bold Hanoi. The tour is worth to experience & enjoy.
Our cooking class with Mike was great. His instructions were easy to follow and we worked as a group to prepare the different ingredients. So, kids were also able to do their part. The food was yummy and we got great tips on making Vietnamese food. Pity we could not visit the local markets because of COVID.
I totally enjoyed the cooking class. My instructor, Apple, brought me on a journey of the senses. The food we cooked was literally from market to table. The class started off at the local market to purchase ingredients for the dishes that we were cooking, following which we walked to the nearby venue for the lesson. Apple was knowledgeable introducing the various ingredients and dishes that we were preparing. The meal we ended with was delicious and I would dare say locally authentic. I highly recommend this cooking class.
We booked the class the afternoon before, and Apple confirmed the class about 2 hours later.
We were picked up in a small bus with the rest of the participants where we met the very friendly Apple. She let us decide on the menu before bringing us on a market tour where she not only bought what we needed, but also introduced to us the various local ingredients.
During the cooking class, Apple was very patient and engaging, making sure everyone had fun and a chance to participate. She also gave recommendations on food and shopping areas.
Food was excellent - we made spring rolls, banana flower salad, bun cha and egg coffee. More importantly, there was free flow beer.
