The Evolution(s) by Visible Music｜Concert Introduction

The Evolution(s) by Visible Music, is a unique collaboration between composer and musician Tsui Chin-hung and visual artist Desmond Leung for a thought-provoking immersive art concert which explores the complexities of our world and the changes that are shaping our future. Through the artful transformation of visual notes and rhythms, the performance blends sound and sight seamlessly to create an immersive experience for the audience and offers a space for reflection, connection, and reimagination.

As we witness the technological advancements and the rise of artificial intelligence, we are also faced with the chaos of war and pandemic. Amidst all of this, we ask ourselves, are we evolving as human beings? This performance will be divided into three parts, each exploring a different theme - from world chaos, the rise of AI to the transformative power of art and nature. Let us reconnect with our humanity through art and find inner peace in a world of rapid evolution.

• Programme duration is approximately 45 minutes without intermission.
• With post-performance talk for the 7:30pm session on 19 August, talk will start at around 8:15pm. Conducted in Cantonese.
• Audiences are welcome to stand and move freely during the performance.

About "Visible Music．Touchable Notes"

Presented by 432 1 Music and curated by Director Thomas Lo, "Visible Music．Touchable Notes" is a project of promoting immersive and innovative musical experience. Through a series of 3 immersive concerts featuring contemporary, jazz and classical music with unique visual content, it aims to foster creative use of technologies in music production and performance among music practitioners. At the same time, educational concerts and post-performance talk will be held to arouse interest and deepen the understanding of art and technology integration among the public, especially the younger generation.
