On 13 April 1742, Messiah burst onto the stage in Dublin. More than 250 years after the composer's death, the Baroque-era masterpiece still awes audiences worldwide. In celebration of the 281st anniversary of its April composition, Messiah will be performed in its entirety by a refreshing new chamber ensemble, Consonance – A Choral Collective, conducted by Singapore-based American conductor, Tom Anderson, a seasoned conductor on the island for 24 years. Consonance – A Choral Collective is comprised of accomplished choristers from a wide variety of choral enterprises, while the professional soloists feature some of the freshest and experienced voices on Singapore stages. You will be captivated by this epic work presented by Consonance, soloists, and chamber orchestra!
