Malaysia’s dazzling R&B darling Dayang Nurfaizah makes her return to Singapore at at Esplanade Concert Hall, the first time since her sold-out show in 2018! Following her unprecedented success with Belagu, which won multiple awards at the recent Anugerah Industri Muzik 2023 (AIM23), Dayang now presents a one-night-only showcase of her signature soulful and sultry vocal stylings. Meaning “to sing” in the Sarawak Malay dialect, Belagu paid homage to classic Malay hits. She extends her love letter to Malay heritage and music in Belagu II, which was produced alongside the world-renowned Budapest Scoring Orchestra (BSO) and Malaysia’s top musicians, resulting in an array of opulent tunes influenced by traditional genres such as asli, joget and zapin. Now, backed by an 11-piece concert band, Dayang will serenade the crowd with timeless favourites such as Tudung Periuk, Nak Dara Rindu, Umpan Jinak Di Air Tenang, Dari Hati Ke Hati, Tak Seindah Wajah, Gurindam Jiwa, and more.
