The first Round and Found residency show - Sugar Duo Anne and RiK will hold a joyful sugar sculpture exhibition across the Chinese New Year to kick off the new year!

Through this exhibition, the duo aims to bring a festive atmosphere to the audience, and to experiment with the possibility of Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage, sugar sculpture, in contemporary culture.

About the Artists

Since 2019, Anne and RiK have developed different styles of creative skills through the ICH+ sugar blowing craft training program, based on the belief of inheriting this intangible cultural heritage. Every delicate touch, every tiny cut, whether it is pulled or pressed, is embedded in the sugar sculpture and inherits various stories; in the process of creation, the two artists hope to explore this tradition through various encounters The possibility of craftsmanship in a contemporary context.
