Simone Legno, the artist behind the world-renowned brand tokidoki is now having his first full-fledged solo painting show at Art Now Singapore, featuring more than 50 works of female characters in their freest, wildest and most intoxicating abandonments.
Legno’s sensual and erotic touch to his depictions of traditional Japanese women characters found on wood block prints, are reimagined as contemporary modern women finding their places in the world via modes of new creative self expression that are deeply tongue-in-cheek and melancholic all at once, set in vivacious locales bursting with irresistible colours and emotions!
