About the event
The Pierre Lorinet Collection | Exhibition Introduction

As part Singapore Art Week 2023, Art Outreach is proud to organise the first-ever exhibition of works from the private collection of Pierre Lorinet, a philanthropist and art patron who has been collecting for over a decade.
Curated by Edward Mitterrand, the exhibition brings together a selection of important contemporary artworks selected to illustrate the voluntary bridge the Pierre Lorinet Collection has built over the past decade between the founders of Minimalism, and some of the most prominent Asian artists from the 21st century, who have shaped their practice around the history of Modernism and Asian political or philosophical concepts.
Expect to see a diverse range of works by 11 internationally renowned artists such as Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, Sol Lewitt, Yayoi Kusama, Nam June Paik, Haim Steinbach, Lee Ufan, Liu Wei, Ai Weiwei, Haegue Yang, and Chen Zhen.
