CONTINUO By Pablo Calzado | The Jazz Loft | Concert Introduction

Continuo is a combination of musicians from Singapore, New Zealand and Cuba, who take on an East meets West approach to a fusion of Arab music with modern jazz.

Performing music from around the world and including their own original tunes, their sound has a combination of traditional Oud melodies, complex modern harmonies and an eclectic, syncopated rhythmic foundation, that creates a completely unique experience.
