Exhibition Introduction

The world is absurd, and curator Daniel Chong is here to prescribe Sugar Pills for a Bitter World.

Selected as the winning proposal of the Objectifs Curator Open Call 2022, Sugar Pills for a Bitter World features new and existing works by artists Desiree Tham, Eng Kai Er, Mike HJ Chang, Ryan Lim Zi Yi and Yeyoon Avis. Each artist will present their own “sugar pill”, which are honest responses created in the vernacular chaos of our era, ranging from the poetic to the hilarious.
