Exhibition Introduction

Self-proclaimed hair is getting thinner, and beards are growing faster and faster, but people are more cautious about what they say. Even the silent photographer, Li Guirong, used images to preserve his feelings and thoughts about Hong Kong and our city before leaving Hong Kong, just like Li Guirong is also a teacher Friends curator Su Qingqiang said:

"In the process of helping to organize Li Guirong's works, I felt the sadness of parting, and I was reluctant to let go. Now that I have decided to leave, I am still exploring my whereabouts, nostalgic for the past, and I don't know how to face the present. Now, in a place where I am uneasy, how can I think of death when I leave a place. When a person thinks of leaving a place, and thus starts to think of death, it is a tragic situation.”

"Death certainly means the end, but there is nothing more grief than the death of the heart, it is a real tragedy. This tragic thought. It reminds me again, of Roland Barthes fatally pointed out: "Photography means the moment the shutter is pressed. With the passage of time, the death of objects."
