Show Introductin

At first there was one, and then two, and then three. They catch breaths from one another, learning to play quickly and slowly. Creating playscapes that are out of this world, the three experiment with one another, making sounds, shapes and colours, and playing off on each other’s energy. Harnessing the power of breaths, they make different objects move up and down, fast and slow.

Catch a Breath! is a performance that revolves around the strength and power of breath. Given so little attention, breathing is the root of movement and emotions that evolves with feelings.

This performance draws attention to the intangible strength of breathing through physical theatre. Combined with puppetry, the performance shows the little ones how they can use breathing to centre themselves through difficult situations, and be more mindful and empathetic towards difference.

All performances are relaxed. A relaxed performance is a performance that has been adapted in particular ways which make it more accessible for children, including those who are on the autism spectrum, as well as children with sensory or communication conditions or learning disabilities. COVID19 prevention policies

From 1 Jan 2022, there will no longer be a concession for unvaccinated individuals to perform Pre-Event Testing in lieu of being fully vaccinated. All patrons (except for children aged 12 and below) need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

#Full vaccination refers to:

• having received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective, and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems
• recovery from a COVID-19 infection within the last 180 days

All patrons are required to do SafeEntry check-in at the venue via the TraceTogether app (version 2.11 and above) or token only. Other modes of SafeEntry check-in will not be accepted.
