The tour guide was great, thanks to Hans for his assistance throughout the trip and for ensuring we completed the journey safely. We all had a lot of fun, and the restaurant where we had lunch was also pretty good, with nice scenery and decent taste. The one-day trip was still quite tiring. If you don't usually exercise, it's a bit difficult to complete, but since we went all the way there, we had to persevere and finish it. I guess there's no easy way to see the volcanoes and waterfalls of Surabaya 😂. A very memorable experience.

Waiting for the sunrise is a long process, but being able to see the starry night sky is also nice. The sun was covered by clouds, so there was only a little bit of light. Climbing the volcano is a bit tiring, but the scenery you see is irreplaceable.

We booked 4D3N trip to Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen, waterfall and snorkeling spot. It was an amazing and adventurous experience for us. Our tour guide, Rizky was very helpful and the driver was skilled and drove safely. We will definitely choose Cheap Bromo Team again and explore other destinations if we visit East Java next time.

Our guide, Bara, took us from Surabaya to Mount Bromo, taking care of us along the way by arranging coffee and breakfast, and also took us to a secret spot to take pictures of the volcano from afar. It was an unforgettable and satisfying trip.

Traveling solo feels like a private tour because the guide is extremely attentive. He constantly reminds us of and confirms the next steps. He communicates clearly in both Chinese and English, is polite, proactively and enthusiastically explains the local customs, and his photography skills are top-notch, comparable to a professional photographer. I recommend requesting this specific guide. The driver, Ah Han, is also responsible and polite, and is willing to assist and accommodate travelers' requests. The only thing to consider is that the scale of the Ijen volcano's blue fire is vastly different compared to 10 years ago. Now, each time it only burns about the area of a round table of sulfur. Dedicating a full day trip to Ijen now feels like there could be better itinerary options, such as snorkeling.

Scenery: I just finished a solo trip to Bromo and Ijen. It was amazing to see both volcanoes so close up. For anyone worried about the hike up Ijen, it’s really not that difficult if you exercise regularly. The scenery was simply majestic, but the team is what made it so good. Guide: Big thanks to Edi, Fauzi, Sulis, and other members of the tour team for organizing such a unique experience. I will certainly find them again next time I'm in Indonesia.
