Things to do in Taman Sari

The QR code cannot be scanned directly for entry. After showing it to the staff at the counter, they will give you a wristband and ticket to scan for entry. The museum is open until 8 PM, and 6:30 PM seems to be the peak time, with many white-collar workers and students coming to visit after work and school.

This aquarium is located in the mall. So after visiting the aquarium, we went shopping. Very convenient. Aquarium itself is well designed and interactive. Both adults and kids can enjoy time here. We enjoyed the mermaid show although it was little corny.

You can have a great time for 30-40 minutes. It's best to come after sunset, of course.

Museum MACAN is one of the best modern and contemporary art museums in Jakarta that I think is a must-visit, even for people who aren't art lovers. Its location is in the Kebon Jeruk area and it's quite easily accessible by public transportation or online ride. As soon as you enter, the ambiance immediately feels calm, clean, and a very well-curated experience.

It was a great trip! Gindo, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He speaks good English and made everything easy and enjoyable for us. Mr. Wise, our driver, was also very professional and familiar with the area. He drove safely and smoothly, which made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. Overall, the trip was well organized and stress-free. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting — it’s definitely worth it! 😊
