This event is held in cooperation with the Japan Tourism Agency This exclusive, one-day event is being hosted at the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace — a national treasure of Japan that has welcomed dignitaries from kings to presidents and prime ministers around the world. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the inscription of Washoku: Traditional Dietary Cultures of the Japanese as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, this one-day affair promises to be exceptional.

Additionally, food and drink prohibitions are specially lifted for this occasion.  -Gourmet Japanese Cuisine: Five esteemed chefs have teamed up to serve an exceptional Washoku course meal, available exclusively at this event.  -Close-up Noh Performance: Enjoy a special Noh performance, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, performed by a living National Treasure.  -Artisanal Experiences: Treat your senses to captivating experiences from experts specializing in traditional Japanese sweets, ceramics, sake, and tea.  -Intimate Connections: Engage with each of our 15 participants on a personal level, creating meaningful discussions and lasting memories.

IMPORTANT  Before applying, all applicants and accompanying persons (collectively referred to hereinafter as ““Participants, etc.””) who wish to participate in this Event must consent to the Cancellation Policy and Participation Rules ("“Terms and Conditions”").  The Applicant warrants that he/she possesses the authority to consent to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the Participants, etc. Submitting an application constitutes consent by the Participants, etc. to these Terms and Conditions.  Should the event be canceled, due to reasons such as the arrival of state guests, a full refund will be made.  However, reimbursement for individual arrangements, such as flights and lodging, will not be provided.
