Reviews
I just completed the Wadi Shab day trip booked through Klook, and it was absolutely amazing! The entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The drive from Muscat to Wadi Shab was scenic and comfortable. The highlight was the 40-minute hike through the stunning canyon, where every step revealed breathtaking natural beauty. The trail is a perfect mix of hiking and swimming through crystal-clear pools, culminating in reaching a magical waterfall inside a cave. Swimming in those cool waters was refreshing and unforgettable
We loved the trip. Abdullah was very patient and had great time management allowing us to beat the crowds and the heat. Highly recommend wearing proper footwear as the path can be very slippery especially when you start swimming.
Wadi Shab is ranked as the number one tour in Oman, and there's a good reason for it. Considering the price, they provide very kind guidance from the day before, including detailed information about pickup. You can sleep comfortably during the drive, and when you arrive at Wadi Shab, they lend you a life jacket and you can go in. The guide accompanies you and appropriately takes care of the group members, which was great. There were older people and relatively younger people, and it was impressive how they catered to everyone while guiding the tour. Additionally, if you can't swim, you can't go. Absolutely not. Even if you have a tube, you need to be able to swim on your own or have someone to help you. The end of the tour isn't like, super amazing! Or great!, it's just the fun of swimming in a wonderful scenery. That's Wadi Shab. However, the sinkhole is just a sinkhole. Moreover, the group was already tired from Wadi Shab, so they just took pictures at the sinkhole and all returned. Lunch is included, and the quantity and taste are quite good. In conclusion, it was a sufficiently good tour that was worth the price.
Hiking Difficulty: Very easy! And the scenery along the way is beautiful! Tour guide: I loved our guide Rashid! He arranged the itinerary very clearly and reasonably, making sure we all had a great time. He was also very talkative and sincere, and took care of everyone. A special thank you to Rashid for making our trip such a wonderful experience! Itinerary: The meals in the middle were also very good, with local specialties. The fried chicken legs were incredibly delicious.
Wadi Shab requires a 30-40 minute hike each way and about 20 minutes of swimming to enter the cave, so you need to be able to do at least a minimal amount of swimming. The water was deep, so it's a good idea to rent a life jacket unless you're a skilled swimmer. After Wadi Shab, everyone was tired, so we just took pictures and returned from Bimmah Sinkhole, but it was a very unique landscape. The tour guide was really great.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Abdulla was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about his work and the natural beauty of Oman. He provided clear instructions and ensured everyone in the group felt safe and comfortable throughout the hike.
This was an amazing and memorable experience that I would recommend to anyone coming here. I seriously did not expect this to be so much fun. Special thanks to Mr. Mahmood for guiding us throughout the tour. Oman is incredible!
The scenery was picturesque. I had a cold that day, and the tour guide was especially concerned about me, hoping I wouldn't be anxious. Although I didn't swim, the local scenery was truly beautiful.
Highly recommended if you never visited to Wadi Shab before! Tour guide Abdallah is friendly and professional, he took care of all people in the tour and we had a smooth and happy journey here. Five stars commended to Abdallah!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wadi Shab was a wonderful experience and our guide Abdallah was very helpful. it was a very scenic adventure of walking and swimming. while you can rent life jackets, it would be useful to have swim shoes too as the rocks get quite hot to walk on barefoot. overall, it was a memorable experience
