What to expect
You can experience pottery at Hokkaido's oldest pottery in Iwamizawa City, less than an hour by train from Sapporo. You can enjoy the hands-on potter's wheel experience, where you can make your own pottery from clay through a lecture at the pottery. After baking the finished product in the kiln, it will be mailed to the customer, so please pay the shipping fee locally. After the experience, you will receive the only pottery in the world in 3 to 6 months. Please enjoy two hours to touch the personality and guidance of the pottery.
Before the experience, visit the pottery hall to see the works of Kobu Shigama and expand the image of the work. You can also purchase it.
"Blue" is a pottery with a beautiful gradation that can be said to be representative of Kobushigama. You can choose between blue and white experiences.
