[Special Exhibition] The British Museum Presents:《King of Egypt: Pharaoh》

An Unprecedented Ancient Egyptian Extravaganza is Heating Up Tainan!

《King of Egypt: Pharaoh》is a collaboration between the Chimei Museum and the British Museum, bringing together 280 works, making it the largest exhibition of Pharaoh artifacts ever to come to Taiwan!

This exhibition takes a new perspective, exploring the diverse roles of Egyptian pharaohs through seven major themes. Through giant statues, gold jewelry treasures, diplomatic clay tablet letters, and other precious cultural relics, you can glimpse the mythology and reality of one of the greatest ancient civilizations in ruling history.

We sincerely invite you to travel through thousands of years with us, step into the kingdom of the King of Egypt, and learn about the mysterious and extraordinary world of the pharaohs!

Immersive Game Experience

Time-Traveling Navigator - AR Reality Game Box

Combining AR augmented reality, it brings players an immersive experience of virtual and real interlacing, and uncovers the secret that spans 400 years with you!

《Time-Traveling Navigator》is different from the 《Dome Project》 series. It is the first AR augmented reality real-life game launched by the Chimei Museum.

Players will play the role of museum staff and meet the navigator Hans who traveled through time to the contemporary era. Players must search for clues in the permanent exhibition according to Hans' description, and then use their mobile phones and props to solve puzzles in order to gradually unravel the truth about Hans' time travel!

Dome Project III - Doomsday Celebration

The thief group “Pan’s Sons” is making a comeback again and is about to launch the mysterious “Doomsday Celebration” plan. Can you catch the mastermind and save the world? After the last theft of the collection failed, the hidden first member “Odysseus” challenged the Six Wonders again. He sent the twelve Greek artifacts he had stolen in the past to the Chimei Museum, and at the same time claimed that he would launch a great “Doomsday Celebration” plan to plunge the world into ecstasy. As a Six Wonders player, the only clues in your hand are a photo of Odysseus that fell and four Chimei Museum staff members who have no alibi. The player’s mission is to catch Odysseus, find out the truth about the “Doomsday Celebration”, and prevent the plan from being launched!

Dome Project II - Pan's Sons

Three statues in the Chimei Museum disappeared into thin air in the middle of the night. There were no signs of damage at the scene and no monitoring images could be found. Only letters related to ancient Greek mythology were left on the display stand... When the police were fully investigating the stolen collections, the "Six Wonders" treasure hunter group, played by the players, appeared at the museum, pointing out that the thief's purpose was not to laugh at the police, but a presumptuous crime prediction! Facing the mysterious organization "Pan's Sons" one after another provocation, as a Six Wonders, will you find out the truth...or get involved in more mysteries? During the real-life game, players must solve the mysterious prediction letters issued by Pan's Sons one by one within the time limit in order to successfully protect the Greek mythology-themed collections that the thief is eager to steal, and bring all the members of Pan's Sons to justice. In the process of arresting the thief, the audience can also learn about the Greek mythology-themed collections and stories in the permanent exhibition at the same time.

• Multiple puzzle-solving tasks (including 8 main line levels and 4 deployment tasks). Hidden mysteries and various puzzle props will take you through the permanent exhibition halls, solving puzzles and learning about the wonderful collections.
• You can start playing by bringing the game box into the exhibition hall! No need to purchase additional tickets, no need to download an APP, just connect your mobile phone to the system to enter the plot and start the challenge.
• Cooperation and competition are both possible, the more people play, the more fun! Each team is limited to 3-6 people, there are no session restrictions, no staff is required, just set off when you want to play! There is no time limit for the game, play until you pass the level!

Dome Project I Game Box

The Dome Project is the first real-life game of the Chimei Museum. The puzzle-solving world like the Da Vinci Code provides a brand new viewing experience, allowing you to play while you browse! In the game, you will transform into a member of the treasure hunter 《Six Wonders》 and accept the appraiser's entrustment to go to the Chimei Museum to investigate the famous painting 《Allegory of Music》. Unexpectedly, you will find an amazing secret behind it! In order to find out the truth, you must look for clues in each exhibition hall, and use your mobile phone, props, and exhibits to match each other in order to piece together the Dome Project carefully prepared by the ancients a hundred years ago and find the legendary precious treasure!

• A total of 12 sets of puzzle-solving tasks (including 8 levels and 4 branch line challenges)
• An exclusively designed game box containing hidden mysteries and various puzzle props can be brought into the exhibition hall to start playing.
