Grand Canyon West Grand Celebration Helicopter Tour

The pre-trip instructions were very clear. I chose the 7 AM flight with shuttle service at the end of September, and the shuttle arrived around 5:30 AM for pickup. The weather was very pleasant; it was cool in the early morning, so I wore a short-sleeved shirt with a light jacket. It gradually became warmer as the flight progressed, especially in the window seat. The smaller the bag, the better. I only brought my ID, phone, and room key. Water was provided with the picnic meal. I took motion sickness medicine before departure just in case. The shuttle returned to the hotel at approximately 9:30 AM, making the entire trip about 4 hours, which matched the pre-trip notification perfectly.

It was a very enjoyable and comfortable tour, led by Josh. He shared a lot of knowledge about the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, and it was wonderful to meet such a warm pilot. The tour itinerary involves flying by helicopter for a little over an hour, then spending about 30 minutes at the Grand Canyon before returning.

Tucker was a fantastic guide, pilot, professional photographer and waiter! The experience of landing in the Grand Canyon and enjoying a champagne picnic (with barely another person in sight) was unforgettable and a true once-in-a-lifetime experience!

I was a bit worried since it was my first helicopter tour, but the helicopter was more comfortable than I expected, and the entire round trip was a continuous series of amazing sights. The champagne I had during the short break was absolutely superb.

The tour experience was quite short, only 90 minutes, and cost over $14,000 per person. I felt the value for money was very low. We just flew to a certain point, landed, hurriedly drank a glass of champagne and ate a few cookies, then took the helicopter straight back. I thought we would visit other locations, but the whole trip was only an hour and a half. This is my third time flying directly to the Grand Canyon, but it was the most disappointing. Also, the meeting time was surprisingly early at 6:15 AM.

the trip was prefect and highly recommended! I have been to Grand Canyon before but the view on the sky are totally different, the pilot explain about the spot when we fly through and the experience is totally one of the highlight during my visit on Vegas. 😍😍😍 The view is just stunning and can’t really move my eyes away from the window. I chose 5:30pm slot and also get a chance to see the sunset + city night view, definitely a plus to the whole journey. 😌🤩(you have the offer to upgrade to the front seat which u get the same view with pilot, I recommend you to do so coz the view angle is impressive - luckily I got free upgrade but I think I will still pay for upgrade next time🤪)

An amazing experience! The Grand Canyon is truly breathtaking. Our flight was smooth, the pilot exceptionally skilled, and pickup/drop-off ran perfectly on schedule. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s absolutely worth it for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
