Calgary Kootenay National Park Full-Day Nature Tour

I reserved this tour for four people. On the day of the tour, we arrived at the meeting spot, the Banff Lodge lobby, at 9:00 AM, which was 35 minutes early. While waiting, we purchased hot beverages from the Whitebark Cafe inside the hotel lobby. Five minutes before the tour was scheduled to start, my mom suddenly felt unwell and was unable to join. I spoke with the driver/operator, who told me the booking was non-refundable, which I understood. I then asked if he could drop my mom off at the hotel, which is only a two-minute drive around the corner, instead of her walking with my son, since two of them couldn't attend. Given that the trip was non-refundable, I was hoping he might be able to kindly drop her off as a courtesy, as it wouldn't take much of his time.
