Good to know
- Your tour guide will meet you at hotel lobby or or Istanbul Galata Port at determined time to start your tour (only centrally located hotels)
- If hotel is not centrally located, meeting point will be German Fountain.
- You can choose sights and museums along with all sorts of criteria you like, in accordance with your tour guide within duration of tour.
- No need to buy tickets in advance, during tour your guide will help you to purchase them. Official tour guides have priority at museum ticket offices.
- Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque entrance will be restricted during praying time.
- Blue Mosque is closed until 2 pm on Fridays.
- Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
- Children aged 7 and under are free of charge in museums. Please make sure that you have passport copies of children as you have to verify their ages at museums for free tickets.
- Annual Closing Dates of museums and bazaars in Istanbul are; January 1-New Year / April 21, 22, 23 - Ramadan Celebrations / June 28, 29, 30, July 1 - Eid al-Adha Celebrations (Sacrifice Holiday)
