Reviews
Highly recommend this tour! We decided to book it for our first day in Hawaii to get the lay of the land and tick some places off of our “tourist-must-see” checklist. We had Chief Henry as our guide and it felt like an honour to have someone with so much love and wisdom to guide us through Oahu. In the beginning, it was a bit confusing to find the meet up place. We were told to be in Hyatt Regency but Apple and Google maps was showing somewhere else. I highlighted the street of the where the meet up is in yellow (Koa Ave) in the pic below. Be prepared to wait a bit. There are many tour companies picking up at the same location and be prepared to listen for your name. You can also ask some of the guides for help if needed. With that said, we believe that this experience is so worth it. We enjoyed every minute of it and the convenience it offered us. 🤙
10/10 Experience and I'm not even glazing cause I Love Derk 😂🔥it was quite confusing finding the tour bus at first cause we didnt know they call out names since many tour bus' come through the same meet-up point, but other than that, It was quite literally "The Ultimate Tour" Derk's the best tour guide here, he went above and beyond with the History lessons of the venues we've visited and stopped by, almost felt like that one kids show " The Magic School Bus" 😂 Id highly recommend This Tour to anyone looking for an affordable and lively experience 🙏🏽 If you guys get Derk you wont regret ❤️
Excellent history of Hawaii, facts and humor from our tour guide Maia. I'd have liked to stay a little more at the beach, but it's already a long tour. I recommend it to get a very good idea of all you can do in the island and the tips/recommendations that Maia provide are really helpful.
tour guide Rob was very attentive, knowledgeable to the history of each tour stop, very considerate and kind. He is a wonderful guide , I enjoyed the tour a lot!
This tour is highly recommend if you only have a short time in Oahu. It gives you a glimpse of what the beautiful island has to offer. The transportation was good. The tour guide was great, very knowledgeable, a good driver, and a funny man. The places that we got to see are amazing especially the beaches and gorgeous views of the island. I also loved the Macadamia farm and the Dole pineapple plantation. This is definitely a good value for money.
We had an amazing experience on the Ultimate Island Tour in Hawaii! The tour covered all the beautiful places in Oahu, offering stunning views and unforgettable sights. Our guide was excellent—very knowledgeable and informative, providing us with interesting facts and stories about each location. The tour lasted the whole day, giving us ample time to explore and enjoy each stop. Highly recommended for anyone looking to see the best of Oahu!
driver was good, give us good history and details during our tour so I gain knowledge about Hawaii. recommend trying Leonard donuts!
tour guide Thanty was accommodating and funny. we got to visit all the places in the itinerary. short stop only per destination but was ok.
it didn’t start off great with the tour starting 30 mins late and us all standing on the side of the road wondering if they were showing up… but once the tour started it was great all the highlights of the north shore. there was enough time at each of the lookouts to have a look and take pictures… be mindful that the shrimp is about $25 usd per person including a drink that is an added cost.. and it is paid in cash.. but totally worth it… and at the dole plantation you have enough time to buy and eat dole whip but not to explore to far only 30mins … it was very informative with lots of jokes and culture along the way… be mindful they do a speal at the end about how much they get paid and they live off tips … but overall it was a good day
After placing a reservation, you must leave a local mobile phone number that can receive messages. A text message will be sent to inform you of the location (the same as stated on the website) and the appearance of the vehicle. After arriving early in the morning, I only saw the meeting place full of people. Later, I realized that there seemed to be five or six buses on this trip, and I had to wait for my name to be called on site to know which bus to take. When the driver of the first bus arrived, he only told everyone to wait for 15-30 minutes for other vehicles to arrive. Later, the vehicles stopped one after another, and the scene was still chaotic. It was chaotic. Everyone was asking which bus to get on. I saw that some people were arranged to get on the bus without being called. I was too worried about not keeping up with the itinerary, so I asked another staff member again (showing him a text message to confirm). I was arranged to get on one of the buses directly. After getting on the bus, the driver (also the tour guide) began to introduce himself and asked everyone to fill in their names, pick-up location and other information. They were not asked to show their vouchers. Except for the chaotic ride, the itinerary was pretty good and there were a lot of visits. Elders could easily ride around the island to see the scenery. The driver introduced the relevant attractions and history in English throughout the journey, and was very humorous and friendly. We had garlic shrimp rice for lunch, and the driver would count the statistics first. Booking is convenient and delicious. One of the points is that you can play in the water for an hour. If you want to play in the water, remember to bring equipment. Those who don’t play in the water will be taken to the nearby town. There are quite a few places to visit. In particular, there are many surfing or arts and crafts shops, and there is also a Patagonia. This trip had a long wait at the last two points because the car broke down, but I was still satisfied with the overall trip. I recommend it to those who don’t have a car and want to go further. place travelers.
