Avon River Punting Day Tour

This tour is highly recommended! Especially in autumn 🍂, the trees along the banks gradually turn red, and there are groups of cute ducklings and Canadian geese. The boatman provides commentary on the history and attractions along the way, which is very informative! It's an activity suitable for the whole family.

We made a last-minute decision to join the activity, and it was incredibly convenient to purchase and use on-site! All the staff were very professional and provided detailed explanations, making our trip enjoyable.

Great relaxing boat trip with knowledgeable guide rower. Was also great experience to be able to see small animals on the river such as the ducks and swans.

Onboard scenery: The breeze along the way is very relaxing; the view of the botanical garden from the river is unique.

A must-do in Christchurch. Soak in the sun through the Avon River in a very comfortable punt. Our guide Noe is wonderful and funny, we had a great time with him learning about the river and the wildlife around. It's safe, suitable for the elderly, and fairly priced. Great deal, highly recommended.
