Excellent view, worth the climb. It was quite taxing, not recommended for those with injuries. Driver was punctual and professional. Local guide was friendly, helpful and capable.

It was an amazing experience. The driver who picked me up from my hostel at Ubud was punctual. The drive going to the starting point of the trek was pretty much smooth. Essentials such as water, flashlight and breakfast at the top of Mt. Batur were provided. Kudos to Wayan, our group's guide coz he was so energetic, helpful and informative all throughout the trek. Tips to those who will avail this tour: the way to the top is challenging. There were a lot of rocky portions and slippery ones too. The temperature is about 14-15 degrees Celsius but it'll feel nothing as you went through the trek. After the tour we went to the Luwak Coffee Plantation and was able to try 12 different kinds of coffee and tea for free. They all tasted so good. There was also a shop there to buy the famous Luwak cofffee, balinese chocolates, spices and souvenirs.

I really did enjoy this activity it’s just a bit unclear on the website, if your booking this and think that you will get a private tour up the mountain with your party this is not the case, you will get joined with other people. Although it was not what I was expecting or two tour guides with a group of 10 were very nice and the view at the top is amazing, walking down was very hard and slippery but your tour guide would always wait, this is why we wanted a private tour not group but everyone still waited anyway. Just as an FYI bring your own water as you only get a small water at the end of the hike and you do not get provided with the wooden pole. The experience was amazing.

Is not a technical climb but stamina is needed. We have 13 of us with 3 guides. Johey is very helpful, always give a hand. I wouldn't recommend sunrise hike for kids or people that never do exercise regularly. As if you are too slow you may end up another route hiking alone, which still will bring you to the summit. Is better to hike in pairs. There are a few huts stop point, people selling bottle drinks. The views are amazing, you can see across, that's Gunung Agung. Worth hiking, and not forgetting the tasty breakfast, banana spread bread and eggs.

This place was really nice and could meet people from the world as a terriking partner. The key point is not to see the sunrise, you should proud of yourself when arriving at the most top area. Welcome to join this trip.

didn't like the driver much who picked us up and dropped us off. It was mentioned that water was inclusive but he didn't give us water and didn't even try to give it to us at the end of the trip. The excuse that he gave us was that he didn't have water in the trunk and went to buy it later. it sounded very unprofessional of him to say that and it sounded like an excuse to save on the water. who knows what he does with it maybe sale it and profit from it. Also, at the end he tried to tell other people to get off a little before they even arrive to their destination (hotel) by making excuses like "it's hard to go in and park there and it's just a walking distance from here" he tried doing so with all the other tour people. At the end, I was the last one for drop off, he tried to do the same thing too and actually he attempted to drop me off somewhere farther and asked me to tip him for the drop off at the hotel. I quickly ignored his request and told him straight that I paid for to be dropped off back to the hotel and my hotel has no issues about parking or the excuses that he made before about turning or anything of the sort because my hotel had a big parking space and also told him that if he drop me off anywhere I wouldn't know how to get back even though it may be close for you. I guess he had no choice but to drop me off at the hotel where he picked me up. I was actually find it very absurd that this happened and I thought Balinese people are very nice and kind to others. I couldn't believe what I had experienced. I would say to be careful to those who sign up for this trip. to be very careful!!! if this happens, you must be firm and tell the driver to drop you off back to the right place specially we were so tire from the hiking and he is requesting us to walk, it was unbelievable!!! highly would not recommend this trip to anyone!!! the only reason I gave it 2stars was because the hike was good, the tour guide who brought us up was really kind despite not caring much but gave us time to rest once in a while and since I went by myself the guide helped me throughout sometimes specially going down. but just felt like the guide was just somewhat helpful only. she only cared about herself walking and making it to the top on time rushing us at time. she will just sometime slow down or stop only if we told her so that we should wait for the others or ask if we can rest a bit. Also, she didn't warn us about the monkeys up in the mountains. we were left alone on the side and there were some monkeys that climbed on top of us. a monkey actually climbed on top of me and I froze didn't know what to do. The monkey actually opened my bag and took away some of my items on the bag. luckily, one of the member in the group helped me and the monkey only took away nothing major only took away my red envelope that my mom gave me, a hand sanitizer and some of my cookies. I got to grab bag some of the things that the monkey dropped. And thankfully the monkey didn't take my wallet away, I would have been left without any money if the monkey did. it was somewhat a terrible experience, now I developed a phobia for monkeys. so, i would say to be careful with monkeys when you go up as well because they can climb on top of you and open your bag. if you see monkeys, don't get too close to them and put your bag in front of you so they don't open it. or just run away from them as fast as you can and don't make eye contact with them at all. I feel like they can sense you and smell the food. over all is a terrible experience with a good view!! be aware that the level of difficulty of the hike is extreme!!!
