After working for a while, you might want to relax and unwind in nature. A lighter challenge with a higher safety factor is more likely to relieve stress. Imagine being a primitive man piloting a small boat, sometimes drifting on a plain, sometimes flying over rapids. Thrilling rafting is a good choice to relax. The beauty of Taiwan's Xiuguluan River is self-evident. Rafting here is frequent, and the professionalism of both the coaches and the equipment is trustworthy. You can ride the most advanced boat and indulge yourself without any worries.
- Self-Bailing - Top-Notch Boat: Basic boat type with drainage holes and air cushions on the bottom, but it is more tiring than the other two hand-rowed boats because it has no wave-blocking surface and the boat is heavier.
- Top-Notch - Rapids Star: An upgraded version of the self-bailing boat that will not completely capsize. Easy to maneuver, easy to navigate waves, and the boat is more stable. It has 11 independent air chambers, so even if one leaks, the other air chambers will still function to carry the load, making it safer to travel on the water.
- Top-Notch - Upward Star: The bow and stern of the boat are designed with double-warped safety tips. If the boat hits a stone wall head-on, it can protect the front and rear passengers. The boat will not cover people when it capsizes, and 1/2 of the boat body is close to the water, which makes rafting more exciting. The special drainage groove design at the bottom of the boat makes it easier for the boat to move forward and safely challenge the rapids.

Good to know
- Pregnant women, and individuals with asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, osteoporosis, or other conditions are prohibited from participating in rafting activities.
- If the water level on the day is determined to be unsuitable for rafting, and participants of any age insist on participating despite being advised against it, they will be solely responsible for all consequences.
- For rafting activities, please wear long sleeves, long pants (to prevent sunburn and abrasions), and closed-toe shoes (sneakers or waterproof shoes). (sparkle) If you are not adequately prepared, there are shops on-site that rent shoes and sell related items.
- You will definitely get completely wet during the rafting activity, so please be sure to bring a change of clothes and a towel for changing after rafting.
- Please do not bring valuables (such as mobile phones, watches, etc.) during the rafting process. We are not responsible for any damage or loss during the rafting trip.
- There are no rest stops in between. It is recommended to fill your stomach before the activity. Snacks are provided after the activity (must be redeemed with the activity identification band).
- Each boat can accommodate 8-10 people. If there are not enough people, you will need to share a boat with other passengers.
- Pets cannot participate in rafting activities. Please bring your own pet carrier. Pets can be left at the start or end point of the rafting activity, but there is no dedicated caretaker. Please be sure to prepare water, food, or snacks for your furry friends.
- Round-trip transportation from Hualien requires gathering approximately 2 hours in advance.
