Absolutely loved this experience. We booked and were the only two people on the day but our Klook guide/ Kayak Instructor Eli gave us his full attention and was a brilliant host. Spend the day going from island to island in Sai Kung, having lunch with the locals, swimming amongst the coral reefs. Eli also took photos for us from his phone so we had great memories to share with friends and family. All in all, couldn't have asked for a better experience or tour guide. Note: 1) Bring long sleeve swim gear and snorkeling gear if you want to make the most of it and not burn to crisp. 2) Also a change of clothes although the nearest facility is 10 minutes walk at Sai Kung Sports Centre. 3) Kayaks don't have any decent mounting surfaces for GoPro so body mount is advisable.

Thanks Klook to help us add 2 persons to join the activity in last minute. Thanks Eli's help to guide our kayaking trip. He provided the professional training and guided us kayak around some small islands for the whole day :) If you do not have any experience for kayaking, highly recommend to join it!

Eli & his friend, Terry, brought us around Sai Kung even tho we didn't make the numbers of sign ups. It was a great experience since we were sort of given the "exclusive" treatment. We were glad that our trip wasn't cancelled despite the lack of group size. Eli & Terry were also very attentive to our physical levels and managed to pace the trip within our capacity. Sai Kung is the other side of HK you shouldn't miss if you'd like to experience something different. I'd highly recommend taking the trip it with Eli (from Lifexplore HK Centre). Thanks Klook for organizing this!

I have been on a number of these personalised kayaking trips around the stunning islands of Sai Kung. The trips are well organised, safe and informative - marine edutainment at its best...with a little bit of physical exercise thrown in. Depending on the sea conditions one can paddle through some of the sea arches and hike up a small hill on one of the islands. All the trip details are listed on the company website, including how to get to Sai Kung and a write up on the kayak activity. If you are in Hong Kong, leave the shopping for a grey and rainy day and go out for a paddle!

We arranged a group of 8 to do a day of kayaking and some had low expectations due to the element of exercise!! However after being looked after so well by Paul and his crew we were all thoroughly pleased we did it! We saw some wonderful sights along the way and had an amazing seafood lunch when we returned. The fast boat is very exciting too!

I've spent so much time in hong kong over the years and I never saw this perspective. just wonderful to experience the natural beauty this way. It was a easy -moderate paddle out to the island but well worth it and there was no pressure to rush. there were children through to a man in his 60's. A wonder day lead by wonderful polite people. I got great photos to last forever. thank you paul!

A fun day day on the water. Bring your own dry bag (there was only one available to borrow). Great lunch spot on one of the islands. We brought our own lunch from a close by Cafe. It was a bit choppy on the water. Was a workout and we were all pretty tired by the end of the day (although a good tired!).

This is one of the most beautiful places in Hong Kong. If you have an extra day to go make sure you visit this hidden gem.
  • Peony 26 Sep 2017
kayak is fun, but number of kayaks were not enough. Also, I highly recommend staffs to introduce, at least a brief, to this precious and lovely geopark. The activity wasn't that smooth due to expected rainfall and wave. For snorkelling, there's nothing to see.
