out guide Niranya is very detail oriented and taking are of his group member. Her itinerary and planning is making sire we enjoyed the most highlighted parts of the day tour like the 7 floors water fall. 👍👍👍
tour guide auntie Shirley puts a lot of effort into her work, very lively and personable. bought the participants pomelo and jack fruit to try. unfortunately water was not clean in erawan so we could not swim
the journey to get to the waterfalls is a little long, but having some intermediate stops it was pleasant, in any case it is worth it, the waterfalls are very beautiful, and the possibility of swimming with the fish is a wonderful experience
I liked it very much. They offer a ride along the river for an additional fee... so you need to take extra cash with you. It is advisable to add another hour to the waterfalls, two hours is not enough, I think. I advise you to immediately go up to the seventh level of the waterfall and only then go down to the lower levels.
Our lovely tour guide Pop was friendly and insightful regarding Thailand’s involvement in World War II, where POW were taken to Thailand and forced to build the railway from Thailand to Burma due to Japanese occupation. I do wish that the JEATH war museum was better, as it was only a small hut showcasing the living conditions of POW at the time, I had expected something bigger with more information or artefacts etc. However, the highlight was definitely Erawan national park and waterfalls! Well worth the 3 hour drive and good food options there as well. I wished we had more time to spend here as we got there around 1pm and the park closes around 4pm. We did not have enough time to explore all 7 levels, swim and get changed etc so we opted to stay at one level and swim the entire time. Overall highly recommend this tour and was for sure one of the highlights in our trip!
This is the main hoghlight of our Thailand trip. 3 hours drive from Bangkok city but its all worth it onve you reach Erawam National Park. There are 7 main waterfalls in the park and it will take about an hour to trek the 2 km trail to reach the top most waterfall. A lot of birds, lizards, fishes and monkeys in the park which makes it more attractive. We have an awesome guide as well that explains well the places we went to and even let us taste loval delicacies.
It was a great day trip to escape Bangkok and enjoy some nature. After a two-hour drive, the tour begins at the JEATH War Museum, which highlights the terrible conditions endured by war prisoners. The waterfalls are a real highlight, and you can even swim there.
our guide and driver were great and our group of 6 people really enjoyed this day trip (11 hours inc. 5,5 hours transfer) to Kanchanaburi: gripping JEATH Museum, Bridge over river Kwai and the highlight: ERAWAN NATIONAL PARK. knowledgeable, friendly and patient, they managed our time well and chose a friendly restaurant for lunch. highly recommended tour!
Mr Noy is my guide for this tour. He is so helpful and accomodating all day long. He explained thoroughly at our 1st stop which is JHEAT museum. I like how he explained in details and added more to whatever being told at the museum. Mr Noy also helped me to take pictures at the Kwai Yai bridge, our 2nd stop. Finally, Mr Noy brought me to Erawan National Park for hiking and also the awesome waterfalls. There are 7 of them!! Wehooo. Oh, and Mr Noy also brought me to this one stall in Erawan National Park that serves the best veges green curry and mango sticky rice!! There were so yummy. All in all, a full day well spent with My Noy. Please make sure you ask for Mr Noy if you want to have the best experience from the tour. Good job Mr Noy 👍🏽👍🏽
The experience was great! I ended up being the only passenger in the "group tour," and Nuch was my guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the locations we visited. The driver, Mr. Sak, is an EXCELLENT driver. I spent 8 days in Thailand and he was the only driver that I felt safe with. Smooth experience behind the wheel. I highly recommend this tour. Note: Do bring tissues with you bc public bathrooms along the way do not have them on the stalls. Bring 20 Thb to rent life jacket if you plan to swim, although I saw people swim without life jackets, so I guess it's optional? I also recommend going all the way to Level 7, enjoy your swim, and then come back down to swim in the other ones. After level 5, it is steeper to climb, BUT the path is exceptionally well maintained and easy to stay on the path to get you to the top. Extra note: The guide was a little late, and I called the TripGuru customer service to confirm for a guide. The woman I spoke to told me the guide had quit and they couldn't find me a driver, therefore I had to either do the tour next day or full refund. I was leaving town the next day so another tour was not possible. I felt extremely disappointed for a moment until Nuch showed up, and she showed me documentation that SHE was my guide, not a man that quit. Bit of miscommunication behind the scenes.
