We were lucky enough to visit Churchill Island when the Farmers Market was on and picked up some delicious cherries 🍒 and strawberries🍓! We wondered around the farmstead and enjoyed the lovely gardens and surrounds. The views are spectacular from atop the hill.
Able to see farm animals, such as horses, sheep’s and cows. Suggest to visit in the afternoon as most of the activities such as sheep shearing and cow milking takes place after 2pm.
it has been more than 25years since I visited Churchill island.. As there is a kid in my travel group, we decide to buy the ticket and explore the park together..
The farm scenery is beautiful, but unfortunately, it rained continuously after we arrived, and the sheepdog show was canceled. The experience would have been much better if the weather had been good.
It is very convenient to enter directly with QRcode. This attraction is also worth a visit. There are large grasslands and performances. It is most suitable to go to Philip island. It closes at 4:30pm on weekdays.
The natural beauty of Churchill Island is breathtaking. The scenery on the island is picturesque, with green grasslands, sparkling coastlines, and distant mountains forming a perfect natural picture. In every corner of the island, you can feel the close contact with nature. The tranquility and purity here make people relax involuntarily, completely forgetting the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition to the beautiful scenery, Churchill Island's history and cultural heritage are also quite attractive. The island preserves Victorian farms and buildings, offering a glimpse into rural life in the 19th century. When visiting these historical sites, you can also learn a lot about local culture, which is very interesting and educational. In addition, the farm experience activities are even more unforgettable! Whether you are interacting with animals (such as feeding sheep, touching cattle) or participating in traditional farming activities, it is always novel and enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and patiently explain the background and details of each activity, making people feel at home. Churchill Island's facilities are also very complete, from the visitor center to cafes, whether it is a simple rest or a meal, they can meet your needs. The atmosphere here is warm and relaxing, making it perfect for family trips, couples' dates, or personal relaxing excursions. In short, Churchill Island is an all-round tourist destination that combines nature, history and culture. This visit left me with an unparalleled sense of peace and happiness, and I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants to be close to nature or enjoys exploring history!
It was amazing day out. A bit windy when we went. The walk was amazing with a lot of views. The lavender field was nice.
Great activities for kids. A unique travel back in time. To know the history of the island was pretty interesting.
