This 90-minute guided tour will take you to visit five uniquely different cemeteries in the New Orleans’ Mid City neighborhood. Your guide will share the trials and tribulations of early Irish immigrants at St. Patrick's Cemetery. At Charity Hospital Cemetery you will learn the devastating impacts Yellow Fever had on the region. Throughout the tour the historian guide will share information on the burial practices used throughout New Orleans. You'll also get to take in the architecture of the city’s most extravagant tombs at the Greenwood and Cypress Grove cemeteries. The fifth and final cemetery visited on this tour is the Hurricane Kartina Memorial Cemetery to pay respect to the many lives lost during this tragedy.
