Universal Studios Hollywood Tips
When is the best time to visit Universal Studios Hollywood?
The best time to visit is during off-peak months like fall, winter, and early spring (except Spring Break), and weekdays are usually much less crowded. You should also visit on September or February, which are the quietest months, but watch out for extra crowds on Halloween Horror Nights dates in September.
Is 4 hours enough for Universal Studios Hollywood?
Most people need about 6–7 hours to enjoy the main rides, shows, and the Studio Tour. You can rush through in 4 hours, but you’ll miss a lot. A full day is the best way to see everything.
Is it cheaper to buy Universal Studios tickets online or at the gate?
It’s cheaper to buy tickets like the express pass online. Gate ticket prices are often higher, and the park can sell out on busy days. Buying online from Klook also saves time because you skip the ticket booths.
What should I do first at Universal Studios Hollywood?
Start your day at Super Nintendo World™, because it gets crowded fast. Arrive early, check wait times on the app, and consider Early Access if you want to ride Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge™ with shorter lines. After the Lower Lot rides, head to the Upper Lot for the famous Studio Tour and other top attractions.
