• The calculation date of the check-in will start after the passenger's required information is complete
• Most applicants can obtain eTA electronic travel permit approval within 3 days after application; however, some procedures may take a few days to process, and may be required to make up documents due to personal factors of the applicant, and the number of working days will be affected. It is recommended that those who need to apply for a Canadian eTA electronic travel permit, please send it in advance to avoid delaying the trip

Application steps

• Upload the passport copy and basic information to 【Canadian ETA Passenger Basic Information Form】 after placing the order
• After the electronic visa is issued, the supplier will send it to the email address provided by the customer in the order
• If the ETA authorization is rejected, no refund will be given

Precautions

• Do not book air tickets, hotels and other itineraries before the visa is completed -Foreigners who travel to Canada by air without a visa, they should first apply for an eTA
• All Taiwan tourists who hold a passport of the Republic of China issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of my country with a validity period of more than half a year, and whose ID number is indicated in the passport, can enjoy a stay period of up to 6 months when they go to Canada for tourism, family visits, study tours, conferences or business negotiations Non-working visa-free entry treatment
• The validity period of eTA is up to 5 years, but it does not exceed the validity period of the passport; if the validity period of the passport is less than 5 years, if you apply for a new passport after expiration, you must apply for eTA again before you can enter Canada
• If the validity of the passport is less than one year, the ETA will only be issued until the expiry date of the passport
• Passengers holding a Canadian electronic travel permit eTA must go to the "Check your eTA status" of the Canadian electronic travel permit eTA system to check the eTA status of the electronic travel permit before entering Canada each time. Applicants only need to hold the eTA used when applying for eTA Passport entry, no need to print any other documents
• Citizens of visa-free countries (except U.S. citizens) need to obtain an eTA before entering Canada by air, but do not need to hold an eTA to enter Canada by sea or land
• Citizens with Canadian citizenship and permanent resident status will not be able to apply for eTA. These people must enter Canada with a Canadian passport or permanent resident card and a valid passport; if the permanent resident card has expired, they must first apply for "permanent resident travel" document” to enter Canada with a certificate, or to give up permanent residence status
• U.S. permanent residents need to hold an eTA (and a U.S. green card) to enter Canada by air. If they enter Canada by land or sea, they do not need to hold an eTA
• Flight crew and Canadian entry visa holders are not restricted by eTA, but it is recommended to confirm with the Canadian Immigration Department whether to apply for eTA
• If you have a Canadian student permit or work permit issued before August 1, 2015 and are studying or working in Canada, if you do not intend to leave the country, you do not need to apply for an eTA; If you enter Canada after the implementation, you must apply for an eTA
• Applying for a Canadian student permit or work permit issued after August 1, 2015, and issuing an extended Canadian student permit or work permit after May 1, 2017, will automatically obtain eTA, but you need to confirm with the Canadian Immigration Department You must apply for an eTA. If you don’t have one, you still need to apply for an eTA before you can board the plane and enter Canada.
• The Canadian Trade Office in Taipei recommends that young people who obtained a working holiday visa issued by Canada in 2015, if they enter Canada after March 15, 2016, please first confirm with the Canadian Immigration Department through their personal CIC account "MyCIC account" Need to apply for eTA
