Reviews
Wow! an experience like I have never imagined!!! so the day started with waking up at 6:30 and getting picked up by our lovely driver. the drive was about 1.5hours to the first location ( Jomblong Cave) so you have some time to nap, however roads aren’t smooth about an hour in so get ready for a bumpy ride. we settled in for about 40mins, drank lovely tea and changed into the boots and helmet. Be sure to bring some long socks so the mud doesn’t go to your feet! and wear light clothes as it gets sooo hot there (may depend on weather) we explored the cave and took the best photos ever. then made our way back up and had some beautiful dishes (small portion for me though) we then went to do the river tubing and that was even better. make sure to wear swimming clothes as you get so many opportunities to swim and even jump into the water. I Will never forget this day 100% worth it
this is for the adventure seekers. really fun drop down Jomblang cave - you really need to set aside fear and go for it. the cave itself is easy to navigate with the crew. they will hold your hand on the muddy steps and help take photos. worth it! wear something waterproof, maybe need long tights or long pants and long socks. but all your clothes will get dirty so bring a new set of clothes to change. wear slippers there to change to their boots. a tip is to buy a cheap head lamp from Daiso for this trip! the river tubing is also very relaxed after the cave. great helpful guides.
Jomblong cave:Provided with boots (bring socks), helmet and a harness. Had 2 guides with us, group of 15. Not suited for children or those cant hike or the elderly. Mud is very slippery. Absail down 60m, walk 300m through a dark cave(guides have torches/use your mobile phone torch) and you will end up at the "Ray of Light". The guides help take photos and after 20mins there, head back. We then got hoisted up to the entry point. provided with a delicious lunch and tea/coffee Pindul Cave: relaxing and refreshing. Its a short journey, but you get to go through a cave and there are tiny bats- After they take us to Brides Waterfall- longer time in the water and very relaxing. The guides even pull you along! You will need to be able to bring your own tube with you but they are not heavy. Driver: Erich message night before and he was on time. friendly and drives safe. Makes sure you are comfortable and is easy going. Didn't rush us after each activity. Best day! dont miss!
I really enjoyed the trip and I would definitely go again. However, I don't feel like I was adequately prepared, especially for the first cave. It's a 60m repel down into mud. Lots and lots of mud. Some of the mud is slippery and some will hold your borrowed boot. You only need to walk about 300m through all the mud each way. Somehow it took about 3 hours to go down, walk around, take pictures, and get pulled out, and we were the 3rd pair lowered down. It would take longer if we didn't get there very early. They do have showers when you make it back out. Lunch is also provided by the cave. It wasn't the best and it definitely wasn't warm, but it's edible. The second cave was a short raft trip, but after you go down a nice river. I really enjoyed the float down the river. It was exactly the reward I deserved after all the work of the first cave and carrying my tube past all the slippery rocks to the river.
it was very fun and nice. i like the events for the tour even though it can be extremely tiring and lethargic. I also understand that it can be quite exhausting too taking into account of everything that happened so far
The tour is amazing. Love the adventure and experience. Pak Udik is our driver, he is amazing and took a really good photos and videos of us. Feel fancy as only 2 of us for this tour with a cool and clean car. love it! Thank youuu
The most beautiful natural scenery is in Yogyakarta! Friendly staff/Amazing views/The view of the cave is spectacular, the view of Pindu Cave is also beautiful, and special thanks to the driver Mr. Yoyo Vernandez.
A life time experience that you would not want to miss. It's not just taking beautiful pictures, I overcome my fear of height. The entire session is safe with some challenges, u need to trust the crews, sit down, relax and let go, you will enjoy the entire session fully.
Tip: It may be difficult for people who are unwell or have a fear of heights. It's scary when you get off, but as long as you don't look down, you'll be fine. It's a short trip down the river, but you have to be careful not to slip as you'll be crossing the river. What to bring: You don't need a shower cap. Only for those who want to use it to wear a helmet. The next step of tubing will get you wet. A change of clothes is required. Gloves are not particularly necessary. A light is convenient to have. However, the staff will guide you at important points. Mobile phone: Excellent waterproof case, waterproof bag OK → Can't take good photos. Radio waves: Everything is fine until you get down the cave. It's almost impossible after getting off. Other: There is no need to worry as there will be a private taxi driver to take you there and back. You can also leave your luggage there. Suitcases are also possible if you check in advance. After the train is finished, you can get off at Yogyakarta Station and go to Jakarta (train reservation required) from the app. There are no lockers for valuables, so you can safely leave them in a locked bag in your car. If you have time on your way home, you can make various detours. It is also possible to buy sweets etc. So, it may seem expensive at first glance, but if you want to see a lot of things and learn about things, it's a great deal. it's recommended.
We would like to thank Nicko wijaya for the seamless, memorable and happy trip! We love the experience of Goa jomblang and Goa kidul. Besides that, Nicko helped us to take some videos and pictures as well.. Overall, it is very good service, and the guides are very professional too.
