What to expect

Take home more than phone snaps. This is a private photoshoot in Colombo with SRK Portraits, a local photographer with close to a decade of portrait, fashion, wedding and travel work, including shoots for hotels and fashion labels. It's just one photographer and a camera, so it feels relaxed, not staged. Get easy posing direction from start to finish, with no modelling experience needed. Choose a quick Postcard session, a Story with two locations and an outfit change, or the Signature with up to three locations and a sunset finish. Every booking is private for you and your partner, kids welcome free, with hand-edited, color-graded photos delivered online.

Good to know

Mornings are cooler and softer; golden hour at Galle Face is roughly 17:00-18:15.
Colombo is hot and humid, so bring water, blotting papers and sunscreen with no white cast.
Solid, rich colors (white, red, emerald, cobalt, mustard) stand out against the sea and old buildings; avoid big logos and busy prints.
Pettah and Fort have uneven pavements, so wear comfortable shoes and switch for shots if you like.
Short tropical showers are common in the afternoon; a compact or clear umbrella can even become a prop.
There are no changing rooms outdoors, so wear your first outfit to the shoot.
At temples, cover shoulders and knees, and never pose with your back to a Buddha statue.
