- Visitors are allowed to bring their own food and drink, but refrain from eating and drinking in the exhibition spaces
- Changing tables are available in most restrooms
- All-gender restrooms are available on every level of the museum
- Stroller and non-motorized wheelchairs are available at a first-come, first-served basis, at the information desk (Located on the first floor across from the gift shop). The wheelchairs can be rented at free of charge
- Infinity Theater: Accommodates four wheelchairs. Use the Level 3 entrance near Prehistoric Journey and wait by the sign for usher assistance
- Gates Planetarium: Accommodates two wheelchairs via the main entrance
- Professional aides: Guests must bring their own professional aide. A prior ticket reservation for the aide is required by calling Guest Services at +1303-370-6000
- Infinity Theater: Equipped with a Hearing Loop (telecoil-compatible). Closed-captioning devices are available at the box office; please request at least 20 minutes before showtime
- Sight: Braille is featured on elevator controls and Museum maps (Available at the Information Desk). Audio descriptions are available for select Infinity Theater films
- Sensory tools: Noise-reducing headphones and wiggle cushions are available for free checkout at the information desk
- Sensory-friendly films: Select 2D screenings feature increased lighting, reduced sound, and a "relaxed" atmosphere where movement and noise are welcome
- Bilingual exhibits: While the museum is transitioning to fully bilingual displays, the Wildlife Dioramas and select featured galleries currently offer comprehensive information in Spanish
- Re-entry to the venue is permitted. Show your ticket/wristband/stamp upon re-entry at the entrance
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification
- Smoking and drinking is not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member
- This activity is wheelchair-accessible

- Present your mobile voucher at the ticket desk, and follow the "Have a ticket" sign to enter

- By bus: Take bus line 20 or 40 to the Colorado Blvd & Montview Blvd stop, and walk for 4 minutes
- By car: Take the I-25 south to I-70 (Exit 214), then take I-70 east to Colorado Boulevard south (Exit 276-B). Head south on Colorado Boulevard for 3.22 km, and turn right at either 22nd or 23rd Avenue
- By bike: A bike rack is located on the north side of the museum, in front of the main entrance and on Level 2 of the parking garage (Near the elevators)
- Parking is free at the museum (Options includes the main parking lot, the underground parking garage and the additional parking located along E. 22nd Avenue just north of the main lot)
- Accessible parking: These spaces are located in the main parking lot on the north side, in the underground parking garage (Enter at the northwest corner of the lot) and on the east side of the museum (Outside the Giant Screen Theater)
