The tour is packed in one day. Very reasonable and worth the price. Our tour guide Andy is a safe driver, good at communicating and was also very generous in stopping at other beautiful spots apart from listed itinerary to take some shots. highly recommended.
We had a small incident during our trip. Early in the morning, on the way to Glenorchy, we encountered an overturned minibus. Our private guide immediately decided to substitute other small attractions, which later proved to be the correct decision, as the accident wasn't cleared until almost noon. As a result, we got to see the Bra Fence, enjoyed delicious fruit yogurt ice cream and tasty bagels, and drove along the Wakatipu Highway, taking in the magnificent mountain views. It was definitely worth it.
The itinerary was packed, and having a private car transfer really saved a lot of time. The pace of the trip was excellent, and the schedule was flexible enough to accommodate everyone's preferences. A special thanks to our driver and guide, Andy, who was super nice. Not only did he provide a lot of information about local attractions, but he was also great at taking candid photos, so I didn't have to worry about not having beautiful pictures even though I was traveling alone.
A very worthwhile trip! The itinerary was well-paced and reasonable, and the car ride wasn't boring. Our guide, Jim, was enthusiastic and warm-hearted, sharing many interesting stories with us along the way. The pick-up and drop-off locations were also flexible and could be discussed. Finally, I recommend that those prone to motion sickness bring medication, as some sections of the road are inevitably bumpy. 🥰
If you don't have a car, joining a tour group to explore the towns around Queenstown is a great option. The tour bus picks up and drops off passengers at designated spots, and I personally had a wonderful time. You can enjoy the scenery or use your phone during the journey, and there's plenty of time at each stop for restroom breaks, taking photos, or grabbing a bite to eat.
The itinerary was very rich and fulfilling. Our tour guide, Jim, was talkative and friendly, truly embodying the spirit of a host by introducing us to the various unique characteristics of New Zealand, which helped me understand the country much better. Jim enthusiastically answered all of the passengers' questions and actively engaged with us, which made me very happy 😃 The vehicle was excellent, the weather was perfect, everything was wonderful! If I have the chance to visit New Zealand again, I would definitely choose them!
Our guide, Jim, was truly amazing. I initially thought this would just be a photo-op tour, but it turned out to be incredibly worthwhile. The itinerary was packed with beautiful sights. Besides the planned stops, we got to try fruit ice cream made directly from fresh fruit, and on the way, we saw some Angus cattle with very expressive faces. Jim even stopped so we could have a staring contest with the cows, which was a really fun experience. Our small group of six was also very easy to get along with. We chatted, helped each other take photos, and asked Jim all sorts of questions about New Zealand. It felt like traveling with good friends, and I'm so glad I joined this tour.
This day trip is an absolute godsend for those who don't drive, and the overall experience was fantastic! The scenery along the way was breathtaking, and the itinerary was very well-planned, allowing us to visit eight classic attractions in one day. A special thank you to our tour guide, Chengzi (Orange), who provided incredibly detailed explanations throughout the trip, vividly introducing us to the attractions and local culture. She also patiently answered everyone's questions and proactively reminded us to take photos and stay safe. The entire journey was relaxed and enjoyable, and Chengzi's enthusiasm and responsibility made this trip a truly wonderful memory. Highly recommended!
