Wanaka Jet Boat Ride & Wilderness Walk

What to expect
Meet us outside the Wanaka i-SITE and our shuttle takes you out to the Matukituki River. Then it's into the jet boat and up the valley into Mount Aspiring National Park.
Your driver reads the clear, shallow braids at speed, drifts the corners and throws in a few spins, then stops in deep, still pools so you can take in the glaciers while your guide tells you about the valley and its people.
Upriver you step ashore for an hour long guided walk at an easy pace through moss covered beech forest and along glacier streams into McGills Creek. It suits most ages, kids included.
Then it's the run back downriver and the shuttle to town. Allow four hours. We run in most weather, and if we have to cancel you'll be rebooked or refunded in full.
