Paris Palace of Versailles Half-Day Historical Tour

Our tour guide was a very experienced Japanese woman, and her explanations and pacing were excellent. We were able to see rooms that are not usually open to the public. Although we couldn't enter the garden, we got a close look at it initially, and then viewed it from inside the palace. Watching the movie "The Rose of Versailles" beforehand helped us appreciate the atmosphere, and we had a wonderful time. We were also blessed with good weather. We were able to buy souvenirs. We also visited the perfume museum. We received some souvenirs, but we also splurged and bought our own eau de toilettes. It was good that we went in the morning; the entrance area was very crowded in the afternoon.
