Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Broadway Show Ticket in New York

I'm glad I reviewed the plot a bit before seeing this, because the stage play isn't just a simple re-enactment of the movie; it continues the original world, primarily telling the story of the next generation of Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, and others. If you went in without knowing the background, combined with the all-English performance, it might be easy to get lost in the middle. But what truly amazed me was how it genuinely brought "magic" to the stage. The entire stage design and scene transitions were incredibly fluid, and it wasn't just the actors on stage performing; the entire theater was part of the show. Dementors even appeared on different floors, extending into the audience seating; when Voldemort appeared, the atmosphere of the entire theater changed with him. In a scene where characters fell into a lake, an actual pool of water appeared on stage, and Scorpius truly emerged from the water! There were so many magical effects throughout that kept me thinking: "How did they even do that?" Even the theater walls were incorporated into the plot; when characters searched for hidden text, the words actually appeared throughout the space. I originally thought I was just going to see a Harry Potter stage play, but it completely exceeded my expectations. If 100 is a perfect score, I would genuinely give it 100 points. It's not just "worth seeing for Harry Potter fans"; even purely from the perspective of stage design, special effects, and immersive theater experience, I believe it's a production well worth planning to see when you're in New York.

As with many US attractions, there’s a security screening and bag check before entering. Best to go earlier as there are photo ops before you enter the theatre. There’s no need to queue for the concession stand as you’re able to order via your phone and have the snack items delivered to your seat. Ushers were calling people out with their flashlights if they were spotted using their phones so do take note.

What an amazing show!! Every potter head, it’s an absolute must to visit this broadway play!! The actors were all talented, there were surprise elements (no spoiler) to the skit. Exchange the Klook ticket for a real entry ticket in advanced!

I really enjoyed it. The stage setup was so amazing and wondrous, and the actors' performances were so passionate that I was completely captivated!!! The 3-hour show didn't feel long at all!!!! It was a delightful time! Thank you!!!

The location behind the orchestra area will block the view a little bit because of the upstairs balcony. But on the whole, you can look at the whole stage at a level, and the visual effect is not bad. After arriving at the scene, remember to change the ticket before you can enter the venue with the physical ticket! Tickets can be kept as souvenirs.

It was a good choice for my first Broadway experience. The sound and light effects were great and the plot was interesting. There was no need to exchange tickets for Klook tickets. There was also a fast-track service on site.
