Reviews summaryFantastic tour with our guide. She’s knowledgeable and learned so much from this trip. The views are incredible and one of a kind. Horseshoe bend and Lower Antelope is such an amazing place. Also Thanks to Navajo guide Oscar for the photo tips, we had great photos. It’s been memorable for us.
The minibus driver for the morning pickup arrived at the meeting point on time. After transferring to a large bus at Treasure Island, the entire trip began. The tour guide on the bus was very professional in introducing the history of Vegas, St. George, Page, etc., and was very concise. The experience of walking through the winding paths and seeing the rocks with wave marks in the Lower Antelope Canyon tour was impressive. Although the whole trip took 14 hours, it was worth it.
The entire tour is conducted in English. The Chinese audio guide in the app is only a few minutes long, so it's best to have basic English proficiency or bring a real-time translator for a more immersive experience. Even without it, seeing the scenery at Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend in person is truly breathtaking! It's definitely worth the trip! Our tour guide, Olivia, and bus driver, Cheng, were both very proactive, kind, and friendly. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable. The lunch, a ham and cheese sandwich, was delicious. The local guide at Lower Antelope Canyon was excellent at taking photos; every shot turned out incredibly beautiful!
The areangement was well coordinated. There were no hiccups in the arrangements. They will send multiple emails beforehand, so watch out for those. The bus is new and has room overhead to keep your stuff. The seats are firm and reclinable. You will be well taken care of throughout the whole day trip. Special thanks to our Tour Guide Mama. Water is placed in ice container, just take as you need. Lower Antelope Canyon was closed due to rain in the morning. This is probably where the value of going with a day trip operator comes in. They were able to make adjustments and secure tickets for Canyon X when they knew the situation. Also, the timezone is very confusing in Navajo Nation. I had no idea what was the exact time. If we had arranged ourselves, it might be possible to get the timing mixed up. Having said this, I might get a rental car if I am to do another day trip in future, just so that I can slow down and see more things.
We recently took the Lower Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Day Tour from Las Vegas with National Park Express, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything about the tour was perfectly organized, smooth, and enjoyable. A special shoutout to our incredible tour guide and bus driver, Jhon. From the very beginning to the end of the journey, Jhon took exceptional care of all the passengers. His warm, friendly nature made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. What truly stood out was how he explained every little detail and shared fascinating historical insights along the way — making the long drive feel like a beautifully narrated story. His driving was incredibly safe and careful, which gave us peace of mind throughout the entire trip. Thanks to him, we could just relax and soak in the breathtaking scenery. Both Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend were jaw-dropping — truly bucket-list destinations! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Las Vegas. And if you’re lucky enough to get Jhon as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional experience!
A Beautiful Day Filled with Wonder – Thanks to Jhon! This was one of the most memorable tours I’ve ever been on! The Lower Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend Day Tour from Las Vegas by National Park Express was beyond our expectations — absolutely breathtaking scenery and a very well-planned itinerary. What made it truly special was our tour guide and driver, Jhon. He was so kind, thoughtful, and professional throughout the day. From the moment we boarded the bus, he made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. He shared so many interesting stories and historical facts during the ride — it felt like a beautifully guided documentary coming to life. I especially appreciated how carefully he drove. I tend to get a bit anxious on long road trips, but Jhon’s calm and skilled driving made the journey feel so smooth and relaxing. He paid attention to every small detail and genuinely cared about our experience. Thank you, Jhon, for making this day so memorable! I’ll cherish the memories of this beautiful adventure forever. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic escape from Vegas!
Guide Juliana and driver Bruce are professional. Juliana provided detail introduction to Las Vegas, Antelope, Woover Dam and horseshoe bay during the trip. Lower Antelope is gorgeous, next time will visit upper one as well.
Trip is worth your time, money and even the scorching summer heat! Great experience and even more so with our insighful/funny guides Marvin and Ana (from LAC) who can take great pictures! Thanks as well to our skillfull drivers Bruce and John who kept us safe and back to LV as scheduled.
Our driver James was an excellent hosts and tour guide Marvin did a great job of keeping us entertained with his stories and geological information. Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon were breathtaking formations that everyone should visit.
The day started with shuttle transfers from various hotels to the Treasure Island Hotel, where we boarded our tour bus. The bus was equipped with power outlets for charging devices and had plenty of bottled water available. After about two and a half hours on the road, we stopped at a gas station for a restroom break and snacks. The journey then continued for another two hours before we reached our first destination. Horseshoe Bend We had an hour to explore Horseshoe Bend. However, from the parking lot to the viewing point, it’s a 950-meter walk. The downhill trek to the site is quicker, but the uphill return takes more time, so it’s important to plan accordingly. If you’re late returning to the bus, the tour guide has the right to leave without you! The view of Horseshoe Bend was breathtaking and well worth the effort, but time management is key. Lower Antelope Canyon Unlike Horseshoe Bend, there’s no need to worry about timing at Lower Antelope Canyon. Local guides manage the schedule and ensure everything runs smoothly. The descent into the canyon is steep, so you need to be cautious. The canyon itself is stunning, with its beautiful curves and vibrant colors. This part of the trip felt well-paced and stress-free. For lunch, we were provided with simple sandwiches, which were convenient and filling enough for the day. The Return Journey On the way back to Las Vegas, the bus stopped at another rest area for snacks and a restroom break. However, the drop-off locations in Las Vegas were different from the morning pick-up spots. The bus only stopped at three locations: Treasure Island Hotel, Aria Hotel, and MGM Grand, which are spread across the northern, central, and southern parts of the Strip. Travelers need to choose their drop-off point based on their hotel or plans for the evening. The Tour Team Our guide, Marvin, was friendly and informative. He shared insights about the sights and explained important safety tips for entering Lower Antelope Canyon. The driver, Gracie, was excellent—always maintaining a safe speed and even managing to get us back to Las Vegas earlier than expected. We arrived at Aria Hotel around 6:30 PM, which gave us time to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall, the trip was well-organized and enjoyable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit these iconic destinations. Just remember to plan your return drop-off carefully and keep track of time at Horseshoe Bend!
