What to expect
Step into the future of Making with a hands-on 3D Pen Art Jamming session! You'll explore Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)—the same tech used in 3D printing—by using a pen that extrudes heated filament to "print" by hand
Start by tracing curated templates to master the technique, creating 2D shapes like Gem Biscuits or the Merlion. Next, level up to complex 3D structures like a miniature Eiffel Tower. Finally, unleash your creativity during free-play to design a custom masterpiece from scratch. It’s a therapeutic experience blending engineering with art. You’ll leave with a rigid, one-of-a-kind sculpture and a new understanding of modern additive manufacturing
Reviews
Our group of 2 adults and 3 children had an amazing time at Tinkermind. We used 3D pens to make key chain ornaments. The program was easy to follow even for a 6yo. There was an abundance of materials to use and there were plenty of colours to choose from. Our trainer was Grace and she was very patient with the children, answering their questions and helping them along the way. Grace was also quick to suggest creations that would excite 6yo to 9yo.
