Nagarkot Day Hike

I was very satisfied to see a beautiful sunrise. There was no call to confirm the pick-up time in advance, but we were picked up around 5:45. The guide was kind and took a lot of photos for us. The breakfast was mainly Nepalese food, but they also had simple bread. It was very delicious. We were able to enjoy the local towns during the hike.

I booked this hike at the last minute through Epic Adventure, and I’m really glad I did. A big thank you to Shreeram Adhikari and Suren Sharma for making the whole experience so enjoyable. Everything went smoothly from the pickup until the end of the trip. What I liked most was that We watched the sunrise, had breakfast, walked through local villages, saw traditional houses and farmland, went through the forest and crossed the suspension bridge. It felt like getting a little glimpse of many different sides of Nepal. The hike itself was much easier than I expected.The pace was comfortable and there was never any pressure to rush. They were happy to stop whenever I wanted photos or simply wanted to enjoy the view. Both of them were professional, friendly, and fun to spend the day with. If you’re visiting Kathmandu and want something that combines nature, local culture, good views, and an easy hike, I would definitely recommend them. i’m on my way back and feel a blast :)

It’s a great trip. Not only can you see the super beautiful sunrise, but you can also see the golden mountains and the Himalayas in full view (if you’re lucky, hahaha). Then the tour guide will take you to eat, super delicious local specialties in the morning. Then we will start the mountain climbing journey, where we can see local villages, terraced fields and waterfalls. The route is not difficult, but the scenery along the way is great. There will be point-to-point pick-up and drop-off during the itinerary, and a professional tour guide will explain it to you. The tour guide is very good in English. Tourists who use English do not have to be afraid of communication difficulties. Moreover, the tour guide is very friendly and good at taking care of people. I am really lucky to be here. I met them during the trip. This is a trip I highly recommend!

I have booked a haf-day hiking tour of this company on Klook. Luckily I was not the only one who joined this journey alone, there were 2 more customers who preferred a quite hiking trip just like me. We were guided by Mr. Shree and I would like to say that he was so caring and professional as he has led us through a hiking trail that contained many beautiful landscape viewing down the valley. Additionally, we could expand some knowledge about Nepal as well as he was not a hiking guider only but also maybe an ambassador of Nepal. I was so joyful that day.

It was worth it! Guided by Mr. Shreeram Adhikari to this beautiful sunrise, down to having a buffet breakfast at a hotel with overview of the hills, then trekking down to the main meeting point for couple of hours. It was great! Eaay for beginners like me yet the experience of seeing the sunrise on the tip of the Himalayas Range is perfect for me. Thanks again.

Pick up was on time. We arrived the observation point after around an hour of driving. We were a bit unlucky as it was quite foggy on the morning and we could not see the Himalayas lanscape. Breakfast buffet was provided at a nearby hotel. It was a simple but good nepalese breakfast. The hike was not difficult at all. We got to see many local houses and farm animal. At around 12pm we were safely dropped off at our hotel.

The trek is a relatively easy trail, walking pass villages and temples. You'll get to see Langtang Himalayan range if the weather permits. Suren is a good guide.

The only downside was not being able to see the Himalayan mountain range due to the rainy season, which is unavoidable. However, even with the cloudy and unclear visibility, the hike was very fulfilling, offering unique views of the mountainous landscape and the local life of Nagarkot that you can't find anywhere else. The guide was also trustworthy, providing attentive service and thorough explanations. Moreover, the return transfer willingly dropped me off at a requested location other than my hotel. Unlike some exploitative tours in a neighboring country, I wasn't forced to visit souvenir shops I didn't want to, making it a stress-free experience. I would like to try again during the dry season when the weather is better.

This was a really nice hiking tour after watching sunrise. The sunrise was so beautiful, my first time to see a pink sunrise 😊and then following a nice breakfast. Our tour guide Suren was a very experienced guide, the itinerary is scheduled thoughtfully so within the 1.5 - 2 hour hiking you can experience seeing village people’s life, walking in the forest and passing through a long bridge in between mountains, you can take great photos there, but not recommend for people who are scared of height.
