Nicknamed Monkey Temple, the Stupa is situated atop a hillside that can be reached through a monkey-populated forest. The driver and guide were excellent. The guide explained the history of the place in an interesting way and showed us around the various points of the place. I recommend this tour for visiting the various UNESCO sites in Kathmandu.

Very good! The tour guide Mr. Kari is professional and humorous. Although some attractions were closed due to the distance of the hotel and it was Saturday, being able to visit the Royal Palace Square and Monkey Temple was the biggest gain.
A good walking of 10km! Visited the Dabur square, museum and Monkey Temple. It is worth doing this tour as it also passes through local areas, enabling one to see the local lifestyle and culture. A good calorie burning tour!
Tour was okay, guide was rather nice and took me around to see lots of places. However, on the pricier side for Kathmandu, may want to consider finding a local licensed guide.
I realized that Nepal is an underrated country. You can find a lot of beautiful heritage sites like ancient temples and architecture. I really enjoyed exploring Kathmandu. Kuddos to my guide, Pabi.
Azan was a perfect guide. I thought I was gonna be with a group but it was an exclusive trip for me. It was perfect for my birthday bonanza. He could explain all my questions about history in English and even small talks about Nepal and other things. I felt good traveling with him. I could feel the positive energy. It was my first time to come to Kathmandu. I visited different temples and markets in Kathmandu and finally had an Indian meal. The tour guide was very attentive and it was worth participating!

The tour was decent enough. I have a feeling they separated me from other groups, reasons unknown. But worth the price if you want a guided tour of Kathmandu.

- They say one of the most memorable ways to experience the Swayambunath Stupa is by making it up the long staircase en route to the temple, which cuts through a forested hillside. The steps number to 365, but don't be daunted – you'll have monkeys for company on the way up
