Milford Sound Cruise & Farm Tour with Transport from Queenstown

Nick the couch tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable and had humor on every opportunity he had..😅 The view was stunning loved every bit of it! The optional farm tour in Woodstone Farm was also delight! Interacted with friendly farm animals, chatted with Southland farmer, watched live sheep shearing and dog mustering. Loved the whole experience!

Very beautiful experience. The guide was perfect, not too talkative and not too quiet. The comfort of the bus was perfect for seeing the mountains with your head in the sky.

While the Milford Sound tour was nice, we were actually looking forward to the farm tour and that's why we booked it, but on the day of the tour, we weren't able to do the farm tour itinerary. We didn't get to experience the farm tour activities listed on the details page, such as the sheep shearing show and sheep dog demonstration, and instead, it proceeded as a regular Milford Sound itinerary. In advance, we had received a confirmed itinerary that included the farm tour, and on the day of the tour, we even visited the farm, so we had no suspicions at all. However, after arriving at the farm, we were given free time, which seemed strange to us. Since we aren't very good at English, we used a translation app to ask when we needed to be back and were told two and a half hours later. Because of this, we bought two bags of animal feed for $5 each, but right as we were about to feed the animals, we were told we had to leave, and that was when we realized the itinerary was wrong. The two and a half hours later was actually the end time of the tour, and in the end, we had to leave without doing the farm tour. We contacted Klook and decided to get a refund for the price difference of the farm tour, but due to exchange rate differences, we actually received a smaller amount back, and lost an additional $10 on the animal feed. Above all, since we were looking forward to the farm tour, missing out on the itinerary is much more regrettable than the money. The guides were truly kind throughout the entire itinerary, and that part was really great. However, right from the start of the tour, the departure time was delayed, so we had to stand outside in the cold for 30 minutes, and because the road to Milford Sound was rough, we suffered from motion sickness the entire tour, leaving us in terrible condition. Lastly, because even the farm tour didn't take place, it was a disappointing day in many ways. If I could go back, I don't think I would take this tour.
